EVENT INFORMATION
Nashik is a historically, mythologically, socially and culturally important city in the northern part of the state of Maharashtra in India. Connected well by all means of transport.
Nashik is also one of the Char Dhams and the Kumbh Mela happens there too. Also known as The Grape City and a place of temples and sacred rivers.
For the first time in India an Ultra Marathon is being organised in the dusty natural trails through Vineyards and being amongst farming land growing fruits and vegetables.With the scorching heat at 30 degrees during the day there is relief during the night with the temperatures dropping to11degrees .A test of endurance, girth & determination ..... that's what an Ultramarathon is all about.
About Sahyadri Farms
Founded in 2011, Sahyadri Farms, is India's largest farmer collective in Fruits & Vegetables sector. It's also India's largest grape exporters and India's largest grower & processor of tomatoes. It began with the mission to ensure that small-landholding farmers of India are given fair compensation for their produce and labour. About blueBrigade
blueBrigade Sports Foundation was formed in Pune to train like minded people in long distance running.
Runners training with blueBrigade have successfully completed half marathons, marathons and even Ultramarathons.
Now there are seven blueBrigade locations in Pune and all have exploded in terms of quality and quantity.
About Race and Timing
THE VINEYARD ULTRA
1) 338KM ULTRA, 220KM ULTRA, -
Reporting Day - 13th Feb 2024, Time - 1:00PM onwards
Flag Off Day & Time - 14th Feb 2024, Time - 12:00PM (noon)

2) 161KM ULTRA, 100KM ULTRA AND 75KM ULTRA -
Reporting Day - 15th Feb 2024, Time - 1:00PM onwards

BIB Distribution Date and Time will be informed to the runners through SMS/email few days prior to the event.
About Accomodation
1) We can provide rooms on sharing basis on additional payment at actuals.
CUT OFF TIME FOR THE VINEYARD ULTRA
1) 338KM ULTRA - 72HRS.
2) 220KM ULTRA - 48HRS.
3) 161KM ULTRA - 32HRS.
4) 100KM ULTRA - 20HRS.
5) 75KM ULTRA - 14HRS.
6) 50KM ULTRA - 8HRS.
Note - Cut off times are fixed, The participants will have to leave the route once the cut off time is elapsed, It is the sole discretion of the organisers and no request to continue further will be entertained.
The participant should agree to adhere strictly to the cut off in true sportsman spirit.
About Route
A loop of 21/25 Km with major portions of trail , parts of dirt road and as you near the turnaround a testing incline leading to a loop into the well maintained and landscaped tar road inside Sahyadri Farms. Oh yes and there is a dam too enroute !!!!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable , non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile number that you can access regularly, since this will be our primary means of communication during the run up to the event.
2) Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email address should add this email id www.bluebrigade.club to their address list.
3) We will be sending regular updates to the Mobile number you have provided in the registration form this should be not treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk sms service provider.
4) Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.
5) Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you, if necessary.
6) You are aware that running / long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the The Vineyard Ultra event and do not hold the organizing committee (Sahyadri Farms or blueBirgade Sports Foundation) or any of it’s members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.
7) You shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.
8) You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.
9) You agree that The Vineyard Ultra event organisers (The Vineyard Ultra or blueBirgade Sports Foundation or Sahyadri Farms) shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
10) You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.
11) Age limits:
338KM,220KM,161KM,100KM,75KM,50KM, Full Marathon (42KM),Half Marathon (21 KM) - 18 years and above
10 KM - 14 years and above
5 KM Run - 5 years and above
* Participants below 10 years of age must be accompanied by parents
12) You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race Director or the Medical Staff or by the Aid Station Volunteers.
13) You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.
14) You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by The Vineyard Ultra Event or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.
15) You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force majeure or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified.
16) The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable)
17) You agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever.
18) You understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals, and personal music players are not allowed in the race and You will abide by all race rules.
19) Race day T shirt, goodie bags and other items are complimentary. T shirt sizes and quantities are ordered well in advance. While we try our best to get you the correct size, you acknowledge that the organizers will not be held responsible in case of short of any T shirt size or other items
20) Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of us accepting your entry, you, yourself, and anyone entitled to act on your behalf, waive and release the event organisers, Sahyadri Farms, blueBrigade team members, associated organisers, all event sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of your participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
21) For any reason you cannot turn up on race day, no refund of any form will be given.
22) Townscript is only a service provider and is not in any way responsible for the delivery of the event
23) If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent / guardian of the child and that he/She has your permission to take part in the event. You further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major.
24) Participants must personally appear for collecting the running Bibs. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runners.
25) Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and health issues.
26) Runners who have taken both doses of the vaccination can only register for the event.
27) Physical fitness certificated to be uploaded at the time of registrations.
REFUND POLICY :
In case of cancellation or postponement of the event due to covid related lockdowns and reason beyond our control, alternate options will be offered to registrants to participate in our upcoming events. It means the registration fees are non refundable but can be adjusted in our future events.
