Important Instructions:

Carry 2 liter of water with you.
Throw empty water bottles, banana peels & trash in Garbage bins. PLEASE DO NOT LITTER road.
SMILE at our photographers who will capture your picture while cycling. Do not risk posing with your hands off the handle or stunts.
We are thankful to Pune Traffic Police for their guidance & support. Though the route has been carefully selected to avoid traffic, watch-out for traffic and any obstacles on the route. Slow down or stop if necessary. SAFETY FIRST! Cycling speed & Timing later!!
Recheck your fitness levels – if you don’t feel good, opt out or just take it easy – there is always another event
Eat fruits, sleep well & Hydrate well the day before the cycling.
Wear your bib number on your chest for identification.
Do NOT continue if you start feeling uncomfortable or uneasy at any point.
We will take care to bring your cycle safe from Pandhapur to Pune of those who registered optional tempo Ticket but Organizer will not be responsible for any damage during handling and transport of the cycle
To avoid un-necessary hassles, misunderstandings, and disputes, following rules and regulations are laid down so that the event ends in good spirit and on a positive note.
Please choose the event category carefully based on your fitness level.
Participant, once registered under any category, cannot cancel his/her registration. There will be no refund of registration fees paid by the participant in case of his/her failure to participate in the event. No arguments would be entertained.
This is not a race but participants need to complete cycling in 14 hours each day.
Correct details must be filled against all the fields provided in the form. We require you to register your Personal Data in order to make a booking so we can contact you in case there be a problem with your order. Please ensure you check the details provided for accuracy so we can ensure effective communications with you.

The routes are Subject to changes by the prior intimation.
Helmets, front headlight, and rear lights/blinkers are compulsory for all cycles. Cyclists without helmets will not be allowed to participate. We will be riding in the dark in the start of the event and we do not want accidents only because somebody did not see something because of poor light.
Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the cyclist.
You take full responsibility for participating in the IAS Devotional Ride event and do not hold Indo Athletic society or any of its members or associates, entities responsible for any injury or accident.
You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.
You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event. You are not liable to blame the Organizers and Volunteers for the same.
Understand that the event goes through the roads in the city and highway that may have vehicular traffic. You are requested to watch and be careful of vehicular traffic. We request total co-operation from participants in this regards
You agree that Indo athletic society or its associates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.
You also agree to stop cycling if instructed by the event organizers.
Please carry your own puncture kits and spare tube. Puncture fixing is not under our support. Backup will be provided only for cycle failure/breakdown.
All riders in any ride will have to bring their own bicycle, support equipment, and ride essentials.

IAS Pune – Pandharpur – Pune Devotional Ride

Pandharpur Wari or Wari (Vari) is an annual yatra (pilgrimage) to Pandharpur - The Palkhi of the Hindu god Vithoba in the Indian state of Maharashtra, in honour of the deity. The tradition is more than 700 to 800 years old which is a March on foot from two main locations Alandi (Pune) & Dehu (Pune) in Maharashtra to the Vithoba temple located at Pandharpur, attracts a total of over a million pilgrims.

Indo Athletic Society has organized the 8th edition of the Pandharpur Devotional cycle Wari. Mainly for those who are unable to attend the traditional Wari (march on foot). IAS – Indo Athletic Society is committed to working for the Nobel cause of community health & environment through sports. With this Cycle Wari we wish to spread a message for the betterment of our health and environment. Especially when it comes to air pollution, cycling is what proves to be one of the best modern-age solutions.

Time reporting- 3.45 am at Bhakti Shakti , Nigdi

Venue –

You can join us at any below-given gathering point from Pune.

3:45 am Bhakti Shakti Chowk ( Gathering Point 1 )
4:10 am - Nashik Phata ( Gathering Point 2 )
5:00 am - Nobel Hospital Corner, Hadapsar ( Gathering Point 3 )

Who can Participate: Only those who are capable to ride with speeds above 16 km/hr are advised to participate.

The distance you have to complete is 250 km from Dehu or 230 km from Nigdi or 200 km from Hadapsar in one day so those who have confidence then only participate.

Participant those who want to do Both way can do the "Self Supported" Return Jounry to Pune you can book one way without Truck Ticket

We will have a lot of headwinds while returning so both way participant need to practice to riding against headwinds

kids are allowed ( On Parent's responsibility) if a parent's done registration.

Things to Carry -

Helmet (You won’t be allowed to ride without Helmet).
Reflective jacket.
Headlights and taillights will be must, it will be good if you have power backups (power banks).
Puncture kit. with at least 2 extra tubes.
Nutrition (Electrolyte pouches and energy bars enough to ride this long-distance)
Medicines, handy First aid kit.
